What Is Reciprocation?

Reciprocity is a system whereby a recommendation for licensure from a state-approved education training program at an accredited college or university is recognized in another state. However, RECIPROCITY IS FREQUENTLY MISUNDERSTOOD!

- Reciprocity does not guarantee that a licence in one state can be "traded in" for a licence in another state

- Reciprocity does not guarantee that an educator licensed in once state is recognized by another state

While searching for my own teaching career, I learned something very quickly; NO INTERNET WEBSITE WILL GET YOU AN IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW!

No matter how much you pay for an internet service, job bank, teacher job leads, etc. none of the above will get you an immediate job interview and a "guaranteed job"! There is no such thing. HOWEVER, from this experience, my desire to help new teachers, looking for that career, learn HOW to SEARCH, WHERE TO LOOK THAT YOU MAY NOT HAVE EVEN HEARD OF BEFORE, HOW TO APPLY AND LOOK READY TO TEACH, AND HOW TO INTERVIEW.
